Make your own fresh golden milk ✅

A simple recipe for golden milk in the morning requires only a few ingredients and is quick to prepare. The key ingredients are good spices, milk (traditional or plant-based), ginger, a little pepper, and a sweetener of your choice.

Ingredients for 1 serving:

250–300 ml milk or plant milk (e.g. oat or almond milk)
1 tsp grated ginger (fresh, approx. 2cm, alternatively ½ tsp ginger powder)
1 pinch of freshly ground Tasty Pott organic black pepper
1 teaspoon honey, agave syrup or other sweetener to taste
Optional: ½ tsp coconut oil, 1 pinch of nutmeg, some cardamom

preparation

Pour milk into a small saucepan and heat over medium heat (do not boil).
Stir in the spices and coconut oil, if desired.
Heat for 2-5 minutes, stirring regularly, to allow the spices to dissolve well.
After heating, strain (especially with fresh turmeric/ginger), pour into a cup and sweeten.
Enjoy warm – perfect for the morning!

👉 Tasty tip:

It's best to always use freshly ground black pepper, as the piperine it contains significantly improves the absorption of turmeric in the body. Curcumin alone is less well absorbed by the intestines, and most of it is excreted.
